Once the floor crumbles, Lilith will return to the center of the arena for a slam attack. Gives you more time to avoid the projectiles, though, which is good. If you’re a ranged weapon user, this is a great opportunity to fire shots at her, but if you’re using a melee weapon, it’s better to wait it out until that part of the arena has crumbled. ![]() To make matters worse, the red substance around the arena will also fire off projectiles at you during this time, so you’ll need to dodge around those as well. Avoid this barrier completely, as it’ll eventually crumble that part of the arena (and you can fall to your death if you're on the wrong side of it), making it an even smaller space for you to move around in. In this instance, try to gauge where she’s flying to and rush in that direction.Īfter the first marker, she’ll do this same action but will form a barrier on the other side. ![]() The section she’ll fly over will actually catch flame, and if you get caught in it, your health will drain dramatically. She’ll fly into the air, then fly over a section of the arena before stopping. ![]() Her next big attack actually involves the arena. And, if you have a ranged weapon, make good use of the distance as you get your shots in. If you’re using a melee weapon, try to dodge underneath her to deal a bit of damage behind her before she flies away. If caught in that attack, it can be devastating to your health, so try to dodge backward to avoid these attacks and give yourself distance or move around the sides of her. Not to mention, she has quite the attack where she’ll swipe both wings at you and follow it up with a stabbing motion downward on top of you. She will also stab at you with her tail and take plenty of swipes at you with her wings. Stepping in these will slow you down (and she’ll continue to make more throughout the fight), so you’ll want to try your best to work around them when dealing damage to her. One of the first things she’ll do in this fight is form four piles of a red substance around the arena. Unlike the previous boss fight, the Daughter of Hatred has new tricks up her sleeve. When she does, make them your focus before turning back to her to avoid getting overwhelmed. When the large group of enemies is down, she’ll occasionally still summon other enemies (usually Succubus) to help her throughout the fight. Again, if you have good AOE attacks, they’ll work great here if you can gather them all in a close circle.ĭuring this time, Lilith will continue her usual attacks as well, so you’ll need to stay on your toes dodging her swipes and spikes while taking these enemies down. Make sure to take them all down first before turning your attention back to her. There will be a wide variety of them to work through, too. From here, she’ll lift herself into the air and form red swirls on the ground that will summon additional enemies to fight alongside her. These spikes will ripple out from under her in a wave formation in one direction, so when you see them coming, dodge to the side to avoid getting hit.Īs you near the second marker on her health bar, she’ll lunge into the air and drop into the middle of the arena. These shots can be a bit more difficult to avoid if you’re close to her, so it’s better to dodge backward and gain some distance while she whips them around.Īlongside swiping at you with her wings, she’ll also use them to push up spiky rocks in a wave. She’ll also take very large swings at you with her wings. They don’t stick around long, so you’ll just need to keep an eye on where they’ll form next so you don’t get caught up in them. If you have a melee weapon, try and time your attacks around where the claw marks form to get in close to her. If you have a ranged weapon or an AOE attack, use them here while moving around these attacks. Thankfully, these claw marks are spaced pretty far apart so you can easily move between them or quickly dodge out of the way when you see them appear. ![]() One of Lilith’s initial attacks will involve her clawing at the ground around you, as seen from the cracks in the photo below, and those cracks will ripple forward with flames. She’ll summon additional enemies throughout the whole fight, so being able to take them out in groups will prevent it from feeling overwhelming. And in that vein, AOE attacks will be immensely helpful as well.
